Since 1992 we have been organizing BEST courses on different academic topics with the aim of providing students knowledge on a wide range of topics: wood technologies, ship engineering and even sauna building.

Our 2019 years course was on the topic of finance. Participants acquired the knowledge and skills needed to work in international business, the basics of financial management, investment and funds by having a complete understanding of money and its functions. Participants are now able to apply the main methods of evaluation of investment projects. During the course, participants visited Eesti Pank and learnt all of the important activity areas of banks and other financial institutions.

In 2018 our course was on the theme of Business Psychology. Participants visited popular Estonian start-ups and big companies to see their business strategies. Learned how psychology and business are connected and how they could use it in their lives and workplaces. Also, we got a better understanding of web marketing and IT-companies.

2017
Our 2017 course was on the theme of WOOD. Learning about typical and mechanical qualities of wood and how to process wood with CAD and CNC-technology. At the end of the course each participant had made their own wood object which was made during the practical part. Also during company visits participants saw how different objects are made out of wood.

Continuing our good realtions with our Maritime Academy, our 2016 course was on the theme of the SEA. The overall goal was to give basic knowledge about maritime oriented topics by learning basic principles of maritime through interesting lectures and practical activites.
